Paw Hunt. A hunt your cat can win.
A hunting game built around how cats actually see: high-contrast prey whose movement does the work, a catch rate steered so your cat wins about two in five, and a plain record of what they like.
No account. No ads. Nothing collected.

Built around how cats see
Blue and yellow, never red
Cats are dichromats: blue and yellow read clearly, red collapses to grey. Every target here is high-contrast for a cat, not for you.
Motion does the work
Their acuity is about 20/100, so fine detail never resolves at the distance a cat sits from a screen. What they have is exceptional motion detection, and each quarry moves like the real thing.
A hunt they can win
Prey that is never caught builds real frustration. The catch rate is steered toward roughly two in five: easier after a dry spell, harder once they start dominating. Every hunt ends on a caught target.

Seven quarry, each with its own rhythm
Mixed hunts rotate through them in a fresh order every time, and after thirty seconds of nothing the quarry changes species, because novelty is what brings a bored cat back.
- Feather wand A ribbon on a sixteen-link chain, with a tip that lags and whips.
- Laser point Burst, pause, reverse. Peak arousal, hardest to pin.
- Skitter bugs A colony on a tripod gait that scatters on contact.
- Night moth Circles the light, then settles with its wings shut.
- Edge mice Burrow at the screen edge, peek, then break cover and dash.
- Ball of yarn Rolls, banks off the walls, and trails the thread it unwinds.
- Pond fish Drift under real water, where a paw sends ripples through the light.
What your cat likes
Every hunt is recorded. Over a few sessions the app ranks each quarry by catches a minute, not by raw catches, so a quarry you happened to play for an hour cannot beat one that is simply better. You get a straight answer to the only question that matters: what does my cat actually work for?
Built for paws
The controls lock during a hunt so a paw cannot press them. The screen never sleeps. Sound plays through the silent switch, because the lure chirps are half of what holds a cat's attention.
Best on an iPad
A cat's paw pad is about three centimetres across. On a phone that is over half the screen; on a tablet it is a fifth. The game adapts to both, but a tablet gives them room to hunt.

Questions
How do I start a hunt?
Open the app, tap Paw Hunt, tap Start, and put the device flat on the floor. A hunt runs on its own in three acts and always ends on a caught target.
Can my cat close the app or change settings?
The controls lock during a hunt so a paw cannot press them, and the screen never sleeps. To stop a stray paw leaving the app entirely, the app shows you how to lock the screen to itself with Guided Access.
Where do the statistics come from?
Every hunt is recorded on your device. After a few sessions the app ranks each quarry by catches a minute, so the answer is what your cat actually works for, not what you happened to play longest.
Phone or iPad?
Both work, but a tablet gives them room. A cat’s paw pad is about three centimetres across: over half a phone screen, a fifth of a tablet.
Is anything collected?
No. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics. Your cat’s history stays on your device.
